Mester Architectural Solutions is a full service sales and consulting agency located in Boulder, CO USA. Kurt Mester (principal) formed the agency in early 2011 upon entering the door and hardware industry as the Rocky Mountain sales representative for several door and hardware manufacturers. With a growing resume of experience in sales and marketing in 2011, Kurt dove into the door and hardware industry ready to learn and contribute. Almost 12 years later, Mester Architectural Solutions maintains the same mission, to bring value and contribution to the door & hardware industry in the form of knowledge, experience and trust. To provide excellent customer service and create meaningful partnerships in the space. We strive to be a conduit for growth between the manufacturer, distributor and local market.
Mester Architectural Solutions is currently a Three person team made up of Kurt Mester (Principal) and his wife Sarah Mester (sales support, administration) as well as new addition Vienna D’Jay (Business development). Kurt has held a number of different roles in sales and marketing since graduating from Miami University in Oxford, OH in the Spring of 2003. Always tied to the construction industry, Kurt has gained valuable experiences in every job/role he has held. From direct to consumer sales and marketing, retail sales, field marketing and independent contract representation, there have been valuable lessons from each stage of his career.
Sarah Mester has held various sales and marketing roles since attending Ft Lewis College in Durango, CO. She set aside her talents in sales and marketing to attend culinary school. Following her passion, Sarah worked as chef, caterer and baker in a number of restaurants in Boulder and Telluride Colorado and still enjoys cooking as a creative outlet. She joined Mester Architectural Solutions full time in the Fall of 2022. She is learning more about doors, hardware and the construction industry than she ever imagined, and is eager to continue expanding her knowledge and value.
Away from work, Kurt and Sarah enjoy many activities including skiing, biking, hiking, camping, seeing live music, travelling, hanging out with their 3 daughters and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountain territory.
Vienna D’Jay has been a part of the work force since she was in high school. Vienna has explored many different job titles including cashier, warehouse worker, selling both lamb meat and flowers at the Boulder Farmers Market (different booths), and being a shift lead at a thrift store out in Fort Collins. These may not be all the job titles Vienna has had since she entered the work force in 2016, but they are all a part of the service industry. Vienna graduated from New Vista High School in 2018, where she accumulated over 500 hours of Community Experience volunteering at different local companies in the Boulder County area. She is currently working on getting her associates degree in studio art through Front Range Community College. In February of 2024 Vienna left her job working in a packaging facility of a brewery to join the team, she has already learned a lot and is excited to learn more about everything this industry holds.
